My name is Julia Broomall Millington and I've just published my first children's book. It deals with the importance of not only our self-worth but that of others too. I've lived in several areas around the country and have found that there is a universal misperception about those with special needs. With my three children and seven grandchildren I've tried to instill in them that we are all whole. We all have special gifts and talents. 'The Emperor's New Throne' through it's lyrical verse and great illustrations, tries to subtly teach this concept to all who read it, be they handicapped or not.
